Home Screen Widgets
Adding widgets to your home screen is easy:
1. Install Skylight. If this is your first time using Skylight or you have recently updated the app, open Skylight to make sure your subscription is active.
2. Return to your Home Screen.
3. From the Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area or icon until app icons jiggle
4. Tap the (+) Add button in the upper-left corner. If you are having issues with this step, see this guide by Apple.
5. Tapping this button will show a list of widgets.
Scroll to 'Skylight' to see its widgets. If you can't see it, tap "Search Widgets" and type "Skylight."
Once you've selected Skylight, you can swipe right or left to select the size of the widget you want to add.
6. Tap Done to finish the widget placement.
Lock Screen Widgets
On devices with always-on screens (such as the iPhone 14 Pro), you can add a Lock Screen widget so you can glance at the light forecast without waking up your phone.
1. Long press on an empty part of your Lock Screen, and tap "Customize"
2. Tap "Lock Screen."
3. Tap the rectangular area below the time.
4. Pick the Skylight widget from the list.
5. Tap the "X" in the upper right part of the panel.
6. Tap "Done"
7. Enjoy!
